About Us
We Are Grateful and Humbled by Your Support
Our journey began with our ancestors migrating from the hills of China to Laos, ultimately leading us to the United States as refugees after the Vietnam War. Displaced and unfamiliar with our new surroundings, we gradually adapted to Western culture, including its diverse culinary offerings. As a first-generation refugee, my introduction to American cuisine came through school lunches, as my parents preferred home-cooked meals over fast food. Surprisingly, I enjoyed these school lunches, particularly the square pizza, which was a highlight for many in my generation. As I matured and explored various cuisines, I discovered the joy of tasting new flavors.
In 2001, we opened our first Thai restaurant in Morganton, NC, but after a year, family obligations led us to close it and relocate to eastern NC. After two decades of culinary exploration and inspired by the rise of fusion cuisine and social media, I felt a calling to re-enter the restaurant industry.
Through prayer and seeking guidance from God, I was led to a location off Tate Blvd. This journey of faith and trust has inspired me to craft cuisines that are not only fresh but also prepared and served with quality in mind. Our menu features beloved Western dishes infused with elements of our cultural heritage and diverse culinary influences. Our aim for every dish is to bring you joy from the first bite to the last, allowing you to experience a vibrant fusion of diverse cultural flavors along the way. Enjoy!
